Frequently asked questions.

What is your typical lead time?

Our typical build production time is 8-10 weeks, from date of deposit and/or permit issuance. The permit process duration varies across jurisdictions. For smaller structures it can be a few days, up to many months for larger more complex structures.

Can you help me with permits?

Absolutely. We’re happy to engage and support you through the permitting process including application drawings and documents, Development Officer correspondence, inspections and eventual Occupancy. We also offer additional Project Management services in many areas to assist with construction activities outside the scope of our Building delivery (foundations, service infrastructure, grading and landscaping, decks, pergolas or other supporting details).

Are your Structures Code Compliant?

Yes, our details are generally developed to be compliant in most jurisdictions including the New Energy Code and we can provide engineered documents for all disciplines across Canada.. As the applications of our structures vary across a range of uses, the code requirements vary as well so feel free to explore this with us early in your process.

Can I customize my build?

That is our preference. We love to work with Clients to design products that perfectly fit their needs. We invite you to inquire about what our design process looks like, or feel free to suggest small tweaks to existing offerings and past builds that are close to the mark.

What is your warranty?

Our warranty is 1-year covering defects in workmanship or materials. Certain additional build aspects may carry extended manufacturer or other additional third-party warranty beyond our own, which is passed along to the client.

How long will you be on site?

One of the many benefits of modular construction is a reduced impact on occupied spaces. Our assembled modules can be delivered, craned and commissioned as quickly as 24 hours, but typically runs 2-3 days. Our flat-packed structure kits are designed for site assembly and turnover from 1-3 weeks, depending on the magnitude of the build. The foundations and supplementary site works are typically the most impactful aspects to our clients’ schedules.
